Jeanine Eileen Maloney (Brock) April 7, 1931 to December 17, 2012

Jeanine passed peacefully in the early morning of December 17th 2012 at Lions Gate Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit after a long struggle with Emphysema and Congestive Heart Failure. She was born to Mabel and Lorenzo Brock in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario on April 7, 1931. She spent most of her life in Niagara Falls, Ontario where she married Gerald Maloney .
Upon retirement in 1995, Jeanine moved west to live with her daughter Anastasia and family. She cherished her years with her grandsons Ryan and Brock, remaining a regular part of their life until her death. She moved to Squamish Manor in 2003 where she lived happily until the present.
Predeceased by her parents , brother Edward and former husband Gerald Maloney Sr., she will be greatly missed by daughter Anastasia Nadeau and husband Rod, grandsons Ryan and Brock of Whistler, B. C. Jeanine also leaves her son Gerald Maloney Jr., his children Ashely Atterbury and Joseph Maloney.
The family are very grateful to the staff at Lions gate Emergency and ICU, the staff at Squamish General Hospital, Sea to Sky Howe Sound Home Support and Community Care workers, Laura Modray, Bill and Doug of the Squamish Senior Citizens Home Society, and Chris at Vancouver Coastal Health Seniors Outreach. Special thanks to Dr. Ben Eksteen for the recent years of care and support.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the future with eventual interment in Fairview Cemetery, Niagara Falls, Ontario. In lieu of flowers donations to Pearl’s Place in Squamish would be appreciated.
