McCLUSKEY, WILLIAM GERALD JOSEPH - It is with great sadness the family announces the death of William "Bill" McCluskey of Saint John which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, December 21, 2012. Bill was born on June 6, 1943 in Bathurst, the son of the late William and Margaret (Ward) McCluskey. Bill is survived by his devoted wife, Ruth (Kelly); son, Sean McCluskey (Jody) of Toronto; daughters, Kelly Milne (Stephen) of Saint John and Jennifer Klause (Darryl) of Winnipeg; and grandchildren, Corey, Brianna, Parker, Lucy; and by many friends. He worked for the city for 32 years before retiring in 1996. Bill was known at Starbucks where he loved the staff and the cold drinks and Tim Horton’s where he loved the coffee. He was passionate about everything he did. He was a fan of music, movies, and reading. He especially loved the Beatles. He was also a fan of the Blue Jays and never missed a game.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, where a memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 29 at 3:00 pm with visiting one hour prior and a reception to follow.
