The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, May 14, 2008, of Mrs. Lena M. MacPhee (nee Paul) of Hunter River and formerly of Elmwood, age 88 years. Beloved wife of the late J. Waldron MacPhee. Dear mother of Byron (Sharyn) MacPhee of New Haven. She will also be lovingly remembered by her sister Ina Darrach of Hunter River, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Will and Bessie (nee James) Paul; and sister, Daisy Abbott. Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, May 17, at 1 p.m. Interment to follow in the family plot at Burnside Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Clyde River. If so desired, memorial contributions in memory of Lena may be made to Burnside Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund.
