Suddenly at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Sunday, December 23, 2012, of Vivian Lorraine Currie, beloved wife of the late Bruce Currie of 8 Elder Street, Alberton, age 81 years. Born at Cambridge, Mass., USA on May 29, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Margaret (nee McNevin) Williams of Elmsdale. Cherished mother to Heather and her husband Ralph Gavin and loving grandmother to Ryan. Dear sister to Bud (Marie) Williams of Mississauga, Ontario. She will be sadly missed by her special niece Nancy Currie-Horan. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Friday afternoon, December 28th from the Gordon Memorial United Church, Alberton, at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Lynn MacKinnon officiating. Interment later to take place at Hillcrest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorials to the Western Hospital, Alberton, would be gratefully appreciated.
