Pearl Carter - 89 years of Badger’s Quay passed away peacefully on December 23, 2012 at Brookfield Hospital. Predeceased by parents; Jane and Joseph Crocker, husband; Frank, brothers; Albert, George and Robert, sisters; Daisy White, Mary Brown, Charlotte Coward, Beatrice Parsons, Lillian Meadus, Ena Burry,
and Olive Pelley. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are daughters; Yvonne (Harry) of Mt. Pearl and Joan (Kelvin) of Badger’s Quay, sons; Joseph (Rosalind) of Chamberlains and Jeffrey (Brenda) of Badger’s Quay, grandchildren; Jason (Tracy), Damian (Carla), David, Robyn (Cecil), Angela, Andrew, Eugene and Gina, great grandchildren; Hannah, Isaac, Kaleb, Brendan, Aaron, Audrey Pearl and Wyatt, brothers-in-law; Cecil Parsons of North Sydney, N.S., Claude Carter (Margaret) of Badger’s Quay, Donald Carter (Barbara) of Badger’s Quay, special friend; Ruby Hefferton of Newtown and a large circle of other family and friends. Funeral service took place on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 from St. Alban’s Anglican church, Badger’s Quay with Rev. J. Nicolle officiating. Interment followed from The Interfaith cemetery, Shambler’s Cove. Donations in her memory may be made to The Brookfield Bonnews Health Care Center.
