Peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Community Hospital, O'Leary, on Thursday December 27, 2012, of Austin Joseph LeClair of the Tignish Seniors Coop Home, Tignish, age 76 years. Born at Nail Pond on June 29, 1936, he was the son of the late Melvin T. and Lena M.(nee Perry) LeClair. Dear brother to: Audrey (Jim) Doucette of St. Felix; Leonard (Stella) of Tignish; Phyllis Weatherbee of Tignish; Irma (Hercules) Gaudet of Cascumpec; Lorraine Hefford of Chicago, Ill.; Stephen of Montague; Anne Marie (Jerry) Morrison of Glace Bay, Cape Breton; Paula LeClair of Toronto, Ont.; Janet (David) Carragher of Miminegash; and June (Frederick) Blanchard of St. Roch. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Omar and Melvin Jr.
Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Monday, December 31st from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Brendon Gallant, Celebrant.
