At the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, December 28, 2012 of A. Lea Bell of Kensington, aged 76 years. Born in Long River, December 14, 1936, son of the late Alton and Olive (Moase) Bell.
Husband of Mary (Bowness) Bell. Father of Bruce (Donna) Bell and Marlene Bell. Grandfather of Erika, Morgan and Blake Bell and Ben, Emily and Daniel Heaney. Great-grandfather of Alyannah Morrisey and William Heaney. Special buddy Bear. Brother of Laura (Bill) Pidgeon and Kenneth (Rhonda) Carr. Step-son of Ruth Carr. Brother-in-law of Jean Toombs and Sterling Bowness. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his brother, Eric Bell; brothers-in-law, Linwood Toombs and Wayne Bowness; and sister-in-law, Alexie Mutch.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Sunday evening from 6:30-9 p.m. Funeral Monday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment in Geddie Memorial Cemetery, Spring Brook.
Comrades of Lt. Col. E.W. Johnstone Branch #9 Royal Canadian Legion will hold a service of remembrance at the funeral home Sunday evening at 6 p.m.
