At the Maplewood Manor in Alberton on Sunday, May 18, 2008, with her family by her side, of Fay Elaine Clark, beloved wife of the late J. Erskine Clark of Alberton, age 81 years. Born in O’Leary on February 2, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Charlotte (nee Gay) Ellis. Lovingly remembered by her children, David (Bonita) of Cascumpec, Anne (Late David) Bernard of Summerside and Donna Clark (Allan Bagnall) of Halifax, N.S. She is also survived by two step-sons, Bill (Linda) Clark of Cobble Hill, B.C. and Fred (Carol) Clark of Houston, Texas. Dear grandmother to 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother-in-law, Alder (Kristinanna) Clark of Surrey, B.C. She was predeceased by her husband, J. Erskine Clark in 1994, a son in David Bernard, step-grandson James Clark as well as two sisters, Jessie (late James) Silliker and Birdie (late George) Coughlin. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Tuesday afternoon from the funeral home with funeral service at 1 p.m. Rev. Evelyn Carpenter and Rev. Vickie Homes officiating. Interment in Hillcrest Cemetery, Alberton.
