Beloved husband of Sybil (nee MacDonald). Dear father of Kevin, Dennis (Rosemary) and Paul. Father-in-law of Doris Compton. Loving grandfather of Matthew Compton (Maggie), Kerri Johnston (Michael), Benjamin Compton (Christina), Elizabeth Compton, Sophia Compton, John Andrew “Jack” Compton and Melissa. Great-grandfather of Robert, William, Mielle, Theodore, and Cameron Compton, Connor Johnston and Hunter. Brother-in-law of Kathryn Compton.
Predeceased by his son, Robert; by his parents, Hector D. and Elizabeth “Bessie” (Hume) Compton; by his siblings, Helen, Elmer, Emily, Russell, Grover, John and Joyce.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Belle River Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 2-5 p.m.
