It is with great sadness that the family of the late Darius George Randell announce his sudden passing at his private family residence on Saturday December 29, 2012 at the age of 75 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories wife Ina Osmond; daughters: Lisa (Murray) Blanchard, Lynn (Averell) Childs; step daughters: Tammy (Spencer) Brake, Patti-Lou (Blaine) Park; granddaughters: Olivia, Melissa, Hannah; grandsons: Cody, Patrick, Simon, Jaden; brothers: Arthur (Dolly) Randell, Ken Randell, Joseph (Ruby) Randell; sisters: Gladys Osmond, Maude Regular; sisters and brothers-in-law: Jessie Allen, Flossie (Jim) House, Foster (Mirly) Banks, Ada (Malcolm) Palmer; Deloris Cutler; Sophie Randell, Katherine Banks, Joyce (Mike) Bester, Helen (Lou) Smith, Avril (George) Brake, Rick Brake, Derrick (Jackie) Brake, Albert (Lori) Brake, Murdock Jr. (Norma) Brake; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, family, friends and fellow card players. He was predeceased by his first wife Mildred (Banks) Randell, mother Minnie Pittman and Henry Randell, brother Ephram Randell, sister Emily Small, brothers-in-law: Grant Small, Prescott Regular, Robert Allen, Allan Banks, Alfred Banks, Fred Banks, sister in law Elsie Randell. Visitation has taken place at the St. James Anglican Church, Gillams on Sunday, December 30, 2012 from 7-9 P.M. and on Monday December 31, 2012 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral service has taken place on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at 2 P.M., with Reverend Malcolm Palmer officiating. Cremation to follow, and interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the St. James Anglican Church Fund or a charity of one’s choice.
