REYNOLDS, JEAN - Jean Etta Reynolds, 83, of Petitcodiac, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on December 30, 2012. Born in Middle Sackville, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Myrtle (nee Anderson) Smith. Jean is survived by her daughters: Lois Hawkins of Saint John, Shirley Harrison (Thomas) of Forest Hill, Catherine Drury (Brian Black) and Betty Reynolds (Robert Bowes), both of Petitcodiac; her sister, Olga Jones (Arthur) of Upper Kent; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Jean was predeceased by her husband, Parker Reynolds; her son, John Wesley Reynolds; her brothers: Ormond, Irwin, Melvin, Oscar and Ivan; her sisters: Edith Rasmussen and Dora Smith; and son-in-law, Peter Drury.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 2, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm; the funeral service will be held on Thursday January 3 at 11:00 am with Paul Beaman presiding, all in Armstrong’s Funeral Home, 33 Russell Street, Petitcodiac. Interment will be held in the Maplewood Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
