It is with great sadness that the family of the late JAMES HODDER of St. Lawrence, formerly of St. Bernard’s, NL, announce his passing at the U.S. Memorial Health Care Centre in St. Lawrence on Tuesday, December 25th, 2012. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are wife Nella; Daughters – Alisa Lundrigan (Rick) of Little St. Lawrence, LuAnne Lake (Dwaine) of Bay Bulls, NL, Cathy Slaney (Rodney) of St. Lawrence, NL, Amy Slaney (Sheldon) of Houston, BC; Sister Hannah Meaney; Brother Doug Hodder (Elizabeth); 9 Grandchildren; plus a large circle of family and friends.

Resting and visitation to take place from St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church in St. Lawrence on Thursday, December 27th, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm; Friday, December 28th, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm; Funeral vigil – Friday, December 28th, at 8:00 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Thomas Aquinas R.C. Church on Saturday, December 29th at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Mount Cecilia Cemetery in St. Lawrence. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim’s memory may be made to St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery Fund.
