HOLLOWAY, ELSA - 1920 - 2012 - Elsa Holloway, of Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home, formerly of North Vancouver, B.C., passed away on Friday, December 28, 2012. Born in Southern Russia in 1920, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Eleonore Schroeder (Nickel). At 3 her family immigrated to Saskatchewan where she grew up. Later she moved to Vancouver where she worked as a teacher of the hearing impaired for many years. She moved to Moncton in 2005 to be close to her son and his family. Elsa will be dearly missed by her son, Peter (Sylvie Daigle) of Moncton; daughter, Jane of England; brother, Eric (Lenora) of Vancouver; and grandchildren, Michael and Lynne; as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Elsa was predeceased by her husband, George Arthur Holloway, and all but one of her siblings.
In honoring the wishes of Elsa and her family, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A memorial service will take place later in North Vancouver.
