Peacefully after a brief illness at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, of Daniel Alexander “Alex” MacLean of Charlottetown and formerly of Cape Breton, N.S., age 73 years. Beloved husband of Arlene. Father of Wally (Kathy) MacLean, Francie (Robert) Cornish, Patti (Paul) Cote, Billy (Rose) MacLean,Kathy (Paul) Chapman, Sandi (Brad) Sprague, Karen Murphy (Danny) and Ryan Allen. Stepfather of Bill Bond, Robert Bond, Cathy Bond and Nora Allen. Alex is also survived by his brothers Stuart, Hubert, John, Joey and sister Lillian. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
