Passed away with courage and grace from this life into the next, surrounded by his loving family on March 6, 2008, at the L.A. Miller Centre Palliative Care Unit, age 63 years, of Ferryland. Predeceased by his parents, Rupert and Elizabeth Costello. Raymond leaves to mourn his wife Jane; sons: Hilary (Marcheta), Raymond (Adele); six grandchildren: Kerri, Stephanie, Matthew, Kyle, Danielle and Olivia. He also leaves sisters: Catherine (Eugene) Ward and Jean (Jerome) White; sisters-in-law: Clem (John), Lucy (Basil) and Catherine (dec.); brothers-in-law: Mike (Vonnie), Nick (dec.) (Margaret), Jim (dec.) (Pauline). Special thanks to Doctors Maroun, Zulfigar and Shublaq and staff of Health Sciences and L.A. Miller Centre, Vianne and Glen Chidley, Karen Henessey, Mike and Vonnie, and many more special friends. Also a large circle of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. General visitation Saturday from 10-12 noon and 2-9 p.m.; and Sunday from 2-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, March 10 from Holy Trinity Church, Ferryland at 2:30 p.m. Cremation to follow.
