The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday May 20, 2008, of Mr. Kevin William Lund of Charlottetown, aged 68 years. Father of Kerry (Monty) Gautreau, Stacy Lund (Matt Mullen) and Troy Lund. Grandfather of Katie and Braydon Gautreau; Jordi and Dustin Lund. Kevin is remembered by his brother and sisters, Parker, Margaretta “Peggy” Gallant, Charlotte Smith, Joyce Wyman, Erma Boulter, Heather (Don) Smith and brothers-in-law Len Syvret and Duncan MacRae and his former wife, Paula Doyle. He was predeceased by his parents, Parker and Helen (nee Austin) Lund and sisters Marie Lund, Roma Syvret and Sally MacRae. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 on Friday morning then transferred to St. Dunstan’s Basilica for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. In lieu of flowers memorials in Kevin’s memory may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation. Visiting hours at the funeral home Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Knights of Columbus Council 824 will gather at the funeral home on Thursday evening for a prayer service at 8:45 p.m. Online condolences may be made at www.islandowned.ca
