LeBLANC, GLORIA - 1938 - 2013 - Gloria LeBlanc, 74, of Vine Avenue, Moncton, NB, passed away on Sunday, January 6th, 2013, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center. Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and the late Bella (née: LeBlanc) Melanson. Mrs. LeBlanc was married October 3rd, 1959 at RCAF Station, Marville, France. It was an adventure that took them from Marville, France to Chatham, NB, North Bay, ON, Camp Borden, ON, C.F.S. Lowther, ON, Ottawa, ON, Dartmouth, NS, Masset, BC, Toronto, ON and finally home to Moncton NB, giving them the opportunity to make lots of friends. She was an associate member of Holy Family Seniors Club, member of the C.W.L., at both Holy Family parish and the Military Ordinariate, the F.S.N.A. and the Club d’Age d’Or de Dieppe. She is survived by her husband, Leonard “Len”; two daughters: Suzanne and Lynne (Greg Blizzard); one son, Dennis; one sister, Jackie (Arthur) Robichaud; two grandchildren: Sydney Blizzard-LeBlanc and Devin Blizzard-LeBlanc, all of Moncton as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and also on Wednesday from 9:30 am until time of departure. Parish prayers and sharing of memories will be held Tuesday at 8:30 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Holy Family Roman Catholic Church (11 Cavendish Street, Moncton, NB), on Wednesday, January 9th, 2013 at 11 am. Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
