GIROUARD, ALICE - 1922 - 2013 - Alice Girouard, 90, of Auberge Bel Age, Bouctouche passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital on Thursday, January 10, 2013. She was the wife of the late Philippe Girouard. Born in Bouctouche she was the daughter of the late Adelin and the late Henriette (LeBlanc) Melanson. She will be sadly missed by her daughters: Florence Girouard and Yvette Cormier (Jean-Paul) of Bouctouche, her sons : Aldérie (Léa) of Grande-Digue, Gérald (Gisèle) of Baie de Bouctouche and Valmond of Bouctouche, one half sister Géraline Fortin of Moncton, ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Alice was predeceased by a son Paul-Emile, three sisters: Dora, Marie and Hélène and one brother Antoine.
Visitations will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l'église, Bouctouche on Friday, January 11, 2013 from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9pm and on Saturday from 9 to 10:45am. Funeral Mass will be held in the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 11:00am, with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
