WALTON, ALAN - 1952 - 2013 - Alan Walton, 60, of Grand-Barachois, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born in Point-du-Chêne on September 19, 1952, he was the son of Harold and Freda (Fraser) Walton. His passion was drag racing at the Miramichi Dragway Park. He was employed with Parlee Beach Provincial Park, Shediac with the maintenance department. He will be sadly missed by his partner, Louise Doiron; one daughter, Christina Walton of Shediac; one grandson, Brady; two sisters: Linda Trenholm and Bonnie Wallace both of Shediac; two brothers: Donnie (late Karla) and Harold (Bonna) both of Ontario, as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive condolences from 1 p.m. until time of service on
Friday, January 18, 2013 at Frenette Funeral Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) followed by the funeral service at 3 p.m. In memory of Alan, a contribution to New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes Association of New Brunswick would be appreciated.
