The death occurred at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, of Louise Crossman of Summerside, aged 90 years. Born in Darnley, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Lucy (Abbott) MacKay. Survived by her sons Donald Crossman, Winnipeg, MB; Kenneth (Dawn Marie) Crossman, Mesa, AZ; grandchildren Evelyn (David) Benger; Dee (Shane) Robb; Bethany (Bobby) Wilson; Katie Crossman (Mathew Simpson); Cindy Crossman; great-grandchildren Dakota and Tygart Benger; Rhett Robb; William and Hunter Wilson; Archer Simpson; sisters Muriel Brown, Kensington; Joyce (Allan) Weber, Elmira, ON; sister-in-law Daisy MacKay; brother-in-law Joseph Wigmore; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Gordon Crossman; son David Crossman; grandson Daniel Crossman; brothers Keir (Anna) and Elton (Ruth) MacKay; sisters Esther Wigmore and Jean (Bruce) Ramsay; two brothers and one sister in infancy; brothers-in-law Ray Crozier and Harry Brown. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Wednesday, then to Central Street Christian Church, Summerside, for funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment later in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside.
