It is with great sadness that the family of the late Patrick Organ announce his passing at the Bay d’Espoir Community Health Centre, St. Alban’s, NL on Tuesday January 15, 2013 at the age of 70. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his ; children: Jamie Organ-Colbourne (Jessica), St. John’s, NL & Jeff Organ, St. John’s, NL; step children: Adam Tucker (Ingrid), Fort MacMurray, AB, David Gibbons (Roxanne), St. Laurence, NL, Penny Burton (Gord), Massey Drive, NL, Nadine Hunt (Wince), Goulds, NL, Susan Hicks (Gerald), Gander, NL, & Jennifer Hicks (Myles), Gander, NL; 2 grandchildren; 16 step grandchildren; 1 step great-grandson; mother: Dorothy Organ, St. Veronica’s; brothers:Dave (Eileen), St. Veronica’s, NL, Joe, (Maureen), Ramea, NL, Clement (Lois), Medecine Hat, AB; sisters: Helen (Jerry Glavine), St. John’s, NL, Lucy (Lloyd Organ), St. Alban’s, Loretta ( Johnny McDonald), St. Veronica’s, NL; sister in law: Loretta Organ, St. Alban’s, NL as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife: Gertrude Osmond; father: Lawrence Organ; brother: Frank; sister Ann. The funeral service was held on Friday January 18, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban’s with Father Edward Brophy officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban’s. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
