It is with great sadness that the family of the late Kenneth (Kelly) Spence of Devon, Alberta, (formerly of Port au Choix), NL, announce his sudden passing on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013 in Leduc, Alberta at the age of 35 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his son AJ; parents Ivy and David; girlfriend Tanya; step-children Brittany and Zachery; sister Estelle (Melvin); brother Stephen (Nadine); nephew David; sister Dawn (Sammy); nieces Ashtin and Anita; special family member Laura Walsh and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Visitation took place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home in Port au Choix on Wednesday, and Thursday. The funeral service was held from St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church on Friday, Jan. 18 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Steve Jenkins officiating. Interment followed at the Interfaith Cemetery, Sandy Cove.
