HILTZ, Olive Mae -83, of Valley View Villa, Riverton, and formerly of Lyons Brook, passed away January 15, 2013 in the villa. Born May 3, 1929 in Merigomish, she was a daughter of the late Earl & Lucy Rose (Horton) Huggan, and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Olive is survived by her husband, Basil, Pictou; daughter, Eva Baillie (Blaine Foote), Kenzieville; son, Doug Hiltz (Jennifer), Lyons Brook; grandsons, Jason and Jeffrey Baillie, Devin and Jordan Hiltz. She was predeceased by a daughter in infancy; brothers, Ralph, Reg, and George Huggan; sisters, Muriel Hatcher and Lorraine Huggan. There will be no visitation by request. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Friday in McLaren Funeral Home Chapel, Pictou, with Rev. Sheila Redden-Smith officiating. Burial will be in Scotch Hill Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
