JONES, Maria Marie: 98, Halifax, passed away at Melville Lodge on January 15, 2013.Born in Murray Corner, NB., she was a daughter of the late William and Mary (Field) Stright. She is survived by sons, Lester (Pauline), Timberlea; Harold, New Orleans La, U.S.A; six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, sisters-in-law, Faye and Lily, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Jones, daughter Barbara Mary in infancy, brothers, Charles, Frederick, Lester, Sterling, Edward, sisters, Elizabeth Trenholm, Edith Briggs, Hester Briggs, Nellie Spence. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. (477-5601). No visitation by request. Funeral service and interment to take place at a later date.
