The death occurred on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at Ottawa General Hospital of Julie Ann MacEachern Laporte, age 38, with her family at her side.
Julie is survived by her husband, Sebastien Laporte and daughter, Alice, Ottawa; parents, Glen and Helen MacEachern, Stratford, P.E.I.; sister, Toni (Charles) Lemon, Kitchener, Ont.; father-in-law, Andre Laporte, Montreal, PQ; grandfather, Harold Linkletter, Linkletter; uncles and aunts: Keith (Ginny) MacEachern, Stratford, P.E.I.; David (Nancy) Linkletter, Linkletter; Shirley (Robert Keezer) Linkletter, Freeland; and Betty (Don) Milligan, Edmonton, AB; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A gathering of family and friends will take place Saturday, Jan. 26, 2 p.m., at the Kelly Funeral Home, 3000 Woodroffe Ave., Barrhaven Ont.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Humane Society, 245 West Hunt Club Road, Ottawa, ON, K2E 1A6 would be appreciated.
