NADEAU, LISE - 1973 - 2013 - Lise Nadeau, 39, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Friday, January 18th, 2013, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center. Born in Campbellton, NB, she was the daughter of Guy Nadeau and the late Jeannine (née: Dugas). Lise survived her first fight with cancer at a young age, but succumbed to her latest battle with courage and dignity, Her request that her body be donated for research was granted. Prior to her illness, Ms. Nadeau worked for the Provincial office of Social Development in Fredericton. During her early years, Lise spent many hours practicing figure skating. She had a passion for music, enjoyed arts and crafts, reading and spending time with her niece and nephew. A collector by nature, she valued the time spent on her various collections. She will be remembered as a generous person who would give her time and energy to anyone she met. Besides her father, Guy (Pierrette Duclos) of Dieppe, she is survived by one brother, Pierre (Anne) of Dieppe; one niece, Julie; one nephew, Alexandre, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Sunday from 7 to 9 pm and also on Monday from 2 pm until time of departure. A memorial mass will be celebrated from Saint-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB, on Monday, January 21st, 2013 at 4 pm.
