It is with great sadness that the family of the late Velma Marie Park announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Saturday January 19, 2013 at the age of 67 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories sons David (Samantha), Dion (Lois), OJ (Debbie), grandchildren Alicia, Karlie, Bailey, Tyson, Hunter, Cooper, Brooke, Sister Bessie Park, brothers Ludrick (Theresa), George Crane, brother in law Ralph Cox, Sisters in law Pearl Park, Susan Simms, and Lori Crane, also a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by husband Joseph (January 2008), parents Nathaniel & Annie Crane, Brothers William (Beatrice) Crane, Hilliard Crane, sister Melinda (Ralph) Park, brother in law Howard Park and sister in law Ada Crane. Visitation will take place from the St. Nicholas Anglican Church, Cox’s Cove on Monday January 21, 2013 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. and on Tuesday January 22, 2013 from the hours of 204 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral service will take place from the St. Nicholas Anglican Church, Cox’s Cove on Wednesday January 23, 2013 at 2 P.M. with Reverend Charlene Lang officiating. Interment to follow at church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
