CORMIER, RITA - Rita Cormier of Residence Beaux Souvenirs, Dieppe (formerly of Cormier's Cove) passed away at her residence on Monday, January 21, 2013 at the age of 83. Born on September 20, 1929 in Memramcook, she was the daughter of the late Henri LeBlanc and the late Leoline LeBlanc. She is survived by her two daughter, Phyllis (late Frank) Cormier and Marise Cormier both of Cormier's Cove; four sons, Michel (Dorothy) of St-Joseph, Guy (Jeanita) of Grand Digue, Leo (Margo) and Leon (Annette) both of Dieppe; three sisters, Juliette (Freddie) Babineau of Sackville, Aline (late Paul-Emile) LeBlanc of St-Joseph and Annette (late Leonard) Cormier of Little Dover; two brothers, Paul-Emile (Eveline) LeBlanc of Moncton and Euclide (Angeline) LeBlanc of St-Joseph; six grandchildren: Michelle, Daniel, Catherine, Natasha, Jeremie and Janelle, seven great grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Wilfred (2004), one daughter Patsy (2010), and three sisters, Lorraine, Marguerite and Berthile and by two brothers Leo and Robert.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 23 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. There will be no visitation before the funeral mass that will be held at Notre Dame de l’Annonciation Church, Pré-D’en-Haut on Thursday, January 24 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held at Saint Thomas de Memramcook cemetery, St-Joseph. The family would like to thank Rejean Basque and the Staff of Beaux Souvenirs for the excellent care.
