Priscilla Jean Campbell, also known as “Peggy”, formerly of Sackville, N.B., died peacefully at Beach Grove Home, on Friday, May 30, 2008 in her 106th year. Peggy was born Nov. 16, 1902, the daughter of the late Otho and Sarah Tingley, and was the last surviving member of her eight siblings. Her husband, Harold L. Campbell, whom she married in 1925, predeceased her in 1969. She is survived by three sons: Ronald E. of Fredericton N.B., his wife, Patricia and their children, Eric (Janice) Campbell and Carol (Dene) Williamson; Laurence C. “Larry” of Charlottetown, P.E.I., his wife, Millicent and their children, Richard (Jacinta) and Scott (Beverly); H. Keith of Saint John, N.B. and his wife, Betty. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; Sean Campbell, Scott Williamson, Brent Campbell, Craig Campbell, and Jenny Campbell. A memorial service will be held at the Belvedere Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, June 1, 2008 at 4:30 p.m. with the Rev. David Hamilton officiating. Cremation will take place and interment will be at a later date, in Sackville, N.B.
