McCRACKEN, MAGDELLA - Magdella McCracken of Fredericton Junction passed away peacefully at the Dr Everett Chalmers Hospital on January 21, 2013. Della was born September 26, 1922 in Cape Breton, NS. to the late Edith Wearham and Peter Forrest. Della was a homemaker who loved to sew; making handicrafts and quilting. She also loved spending time with her family. Della was a member of the Ladies Auxillary, Royal Canadian Legion branch # 55 and a former member of the Hartt’s Mills Craft Guild. She is survived by her children; Dianne (Jerry) O’Leary, Vance McCracken, her grandchildren David (Paula) Dawn and Christine; great grand-children Payton and Chase; brothers; David, Edward, Steven and sisters Betty and Linda. Predeceased by her mother and father her brothers Bill, Peter, Pally (Alexander) sisters Agnes, Edith and Mary.
Family and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home to pay respects to the family on Thursday, January 24, 2013 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm.
