PINEAU, EVA - Eva Pineau, 89, wife of the late Antoine Pineau, of Dieppe, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born on May 10, 1923 in Acadieville, she was the daughter of the late Alexandre and Rose-Anna (LeBlanc) Robichaud. She will be sadly missed by six daughters: Elmina Doiron (Livain), Fernande Melanson (Alban), Muriel Richard (Normand) and Bernice Cormier (Robert), all of Dieppe, Marcia Pineau and Linda Richard (Peter), both of Moncton; six sons: Vincent (Jeannita) of Acadieville, Adrien (Claudia) of Moncton, Valmond (Wendy) of Charlottetown, Paul (Nancy) and Yvon (Ginette), both of Dieppe; Donald (Sue) of Kempville, ON; one sister: Eveline Babineau (late Maxime) of Shediac; two brothers: Alfred (late Florence) of Lake Placid, FL, and Armand (late Mariette) of Largo, FL; 23 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by three sisters: Agnes, Marianne and Léonie; two brothers: Doris and Johnny.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of departure (10:20). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-Lorette R.C. Church (Lakeburn) on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Acadieville parish cemetery.
