It is with great sadness that the family of the late Victoria Parsons announce her passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home on Friday, January 25th, 2013 at the age of 96 years. She will be sadly missed by her loving children: Ed (Chloe) Quibell, Shirley (Freeman) Pafford, Gary Quibell, Wayne (Viola) Quibell, Vera (Gerald) Preston, Harold (Eileen) Whiteway and Irene Tobin; 25 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; sister Mabel (Minto) Maxwell, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by husbands: J. Parsons and A. Quibell; daughter Mabel Brake; parents James and Alfreda Prosper; brothers: Stan, Rendell and Harold; sisters: Mary Brake, Myrtle Brake and Blanche Sansome. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Rd. on Saturday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place at the Salvation Army Temple, O’Connell Dr. on Sunday, January 27th, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., Major Calvin Fudge officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Salvation Army Temple.
