Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, of Mrs. Ellen Mary "Geneva" McQuaid (nee Morrison) of Riverdale in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Linus McQuaid and dear mother of Diane, Clifford (Agg), Kelvin (Patricia), Larry (Frida), David, Wendy, Mark (Dianne), Marlene (Earl) Roach, Derrick (Patricia), Brent (Rosanne) and Randy (Katherine). She is also lovingly remembered by her 30 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, her sister Eileen (Joe) MacVarish, sister-in-law Enid Morrison and numerous nieces and nephews. Geneva was also predeceased by a son in infancy, her brothers Reg, Francis and Howard Morrison, brother-in-law John P. McQuaid, sisters-in-law Sr. Elizabeth McQuaid CND and Evelyn (McQuaid) Moylan. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until 10 a.m. on Monday, then transferred to St. Anne's Church, Emyvale, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Anne's Parish Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. If so desired memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
