JOHN ALLAN SMITH
January 3, 1961 – January 17, 2010
John has gone to be with our Father and now he will look after John for us. John looks down from that beautiful place, now his home. He will be our Hero, who had faced many challenges throughout his life. Now he can rest peacefully alongside his Dad. He will be sadly missed by his lovely mom Jessie; his very caring sister Heather, who took special care of him; special aunties that loved him dearly, Bonnie Box, Dorothy Broadis and Gloria Rea. He also leaves behind many cousins as well as the Minto Church family that loved him dearly. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him through his 49 years. We will miss your special smile, you touched many people that you knew and you fought many battles in your life never complaining. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 22, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Minto United Church with Rev. John Carley officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, January 21 from 7 – 9 p.m. in the W.J. Jones & Son Funeral Chapel. Burial will take place at Rosedale Cemetery.
