DUSAN (DENNY) CENIC

On January 17, 2010 Mr. Dusan (Denny) Cenic passed away peacefully at Royal Inland Hospital, Kamloops at the age of 78 years.
He is survived by his loving wife Gina and his two daughters: Daniela (Ray) Cantin and their children Kayla, Marina and Dusan; Milena (George) Clisby and their children Alyssa and Jordan all of Kamloops.
Predeceased by his brother John Cenic of Medicine Hat, Alberta.
Denny was born in Split, Yugoslavia on June 11, 1931. He traveled the world and in 1959 he immigrated to Canada. During his journey across Canada he met his loving wife Gina in Cranbrook where they were married on February 12, 1966. Soon after, they moved to Kamloops where they raised two beautiful daughters. He worked for Weyerhaeuser Canada for 25 years and retired in 1996. Since retiring he enjoyed going on fishing trips and when not on the lake, you could find him in his garden or sitting at his picnic table under his grape vines. He loved spending time with his family and friends but most of all he loved talking and spending time with his grandchildren.
Denny will be greatly missed by his wife of 44 years as well by his family and friends.
Prayers will be recited on Friday, January 22, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in Sacred Heart Cathedral. The Reverend Father Derrick Cameron will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial at the Cathedral on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 12:00 (noon).
