1942 - 2010

Patrick Lindores (67) of Kamloops passed away early Saturday morning, January 16, 2010 with his family by his side.

He lived a very colourful life, as a Bandsman in the Canadian Armed Forces, pro-wrestler in the early 60's, and trained with the Hamilton Tiger Cats. He later ref'd college football and became a certified Shaman.

Dad had a witty sense of humour, a taste for cigars, and a great love of animals. He traveled throughout the country with work, including the Northern Territories, playing his beloved tuba in many bands along the way. Recently he was a host at the North Shore Wendy's where he loved to tease the ladies in his Irish brogue and tell tales to children.

Patrick was a kind man who touched the lives of many people and will truly be missed by all.

Survived by his wife Joan; his daughter Susan (Dan); his son Brendhan (Jessie); his grandchildren Kierra and Reehin Patrick; brother James and family; and his very dear and special friend Sandy Stern and dog Indy.

He is donating his remains to UBC School of Medicine.

A wake will be held for him on his birthday, St. Patty's Day (March 17th).

In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations to have his ashes sent home to Ireland.

May he forever be dancing with the Leprechauns, watching over us with Nightstalker, puffing on a stogie, sipping his Guinness, and have a front row seat watching his New Orleans Saints win the Superbowl.
