(Griffiths) It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, peacefully at her home in Dunville on March 5, 2008. Predeceased by her two sons: Baby Dennis (9 mths.) and Dennis Anthony (5 yrs.); mother and father, Elizabeth and John Griffiths; sisters: Elizabeth, Germaine and Rebecca; brothers: Pius and Patrick; and husband Lawrence Murphy. Leaving to mourn are her seven children: Lou (Donna), Angela (Kevin), Bob (Donna), John, Larry (Angie), Laura (Gerard) and Mike (Linda); sixteen grandchildren: Kerry, Jason, Chad, Bobby, Corrienna, Danny, Todd, Robyn, Jonathan, Jordan, Lee, Joseph, Ryan, Justin, Geoff and Cory; six great-grandchildren: Lauren, McKennan, Colby, Saidey, Claire and Sophia; nine siblings: Mike (Beth), Till, Leo, Jack (Till), Val (Ann), Eugene (Joan), Mary (Cyril); special friends: Theresa (John) and Ferg (Catherine). Rose has many special in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends, especially niece and Godchild Bonita Whyte; nephew Pat Power and daughter-in-law Donna and friend Lisa Schaeffer who helped with her home care during her illness and so many more but too many to mention. Resting at Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia on Friday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 8th in Ship Harbour. Donations can be made to the Daffodil Place.
