Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family at the Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, January 19, 2010, age 84 years. Predeceased by her husband Reginald, parents George and Clarabell Moores, brother Ron, sisters: Alma, Nance, Jean, Marian and Edna. Leaving to mourn sons: Robert (Theresa), Paul (Mary); daughters: Debbie Mercer (Blair), Karen Holwell (Dale); brother Ted (Eileen); sisters: Marge (Art), Ada; sisters-in-law: Shirley Bartlett, Ruth Noseworthy; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; also a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home on Hamilton Avenue, Wednesday, January 20, 2010, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., Thursday, January 21, 2010, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services from Wesley United Church on Patrick Street, Friday, January 22, 2010 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at the Field of Honour, Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
