Carl "Boo" Gouchie Jr., 48, passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, January 18, 2010.
Born in Amherst, he was a son of Carl (Ann) Gouchie Sr., Amherst and Sally (Carde) Gouchie, Amherst.
Boo was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and time at his camp. He loved and protected his family with the heart of a saint. He was a hardworker, employed with Hawkes Blueberries for over 20 years.
In addition to his mother, father and step-mother, he will be dearly missed by his daughters Alvira, McAdam and Sandra, Amherst; sisters Jeannie (Kari) Fisher, Amherst, Mylinda, Amherst, Tina Jelleau, Truro, Dawn (Jason Rector), Amherst, Crystal, Amherst, and Amanda, Halifax; nieces and nephews, Jessica, Alec, Brandon, Parker, Tyler, Emily, Liam, and Caleb.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Furlong~Jones Funeral Home, 70 Church St., Amherst, NS (902-667-8777) where a time of Remembrance will be held on Friday, January 22, 2010 from 7 to 9 pm.
