Passed peacefully away at home with his loving family in Hickman’s Harbour on January 26, 2013, Dalton Barry Wheaton, age 67 years. Predeceased by his parents Oswald and Elsie Wheaton, sister Ida Whitt, brothers-in-law Anthony Careen and Cliff Rideout. Leaving to mourn are his wife, Fay (nee Kearley); daughter Michelle (Mike Vardy); son Michael (Tamara); grandchildren Ashley (Robert Moore), Aaron (Tara Cooper), Michaela, Mackenzie, and Morgan; great-grandson Jace; brothers: Newman (Yvonne), Gordon (Mavis), Jim (Patsy), Ellis; sisters Yvonne Careen, Gwen Rideout, Iris (David Highstead), Pauline (Bob Sander); brother-in-law Ike Whitt. Parents in law Wesley and Netta Kearley and a large circle of family members. Cremation has taken place. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. John Davis, assisted by Rev. Vera Abbott, took place on Tuesday, January 29th from the Memorial United Church, Clarenville, with a private interment to follow at a later date.
