McPhee, Daniel H. – 81, of Parrsboro passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Elk Court, Brookfield. Born in Diligent River, he was a son of the late Thomas and Mary (Gallion) McPhee. Danny operated the Crossroads Garage for 33 years with his partners, Marjorie McPhee and Lloyd Repetto. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, the former Marjorie Moore; daughters, Jean McPhee, Parrsboro; Marlene McPhee (Eric Hurley), Parrsboro; Beverly Pugsley (Paul), New Glasgow; a son, Timothy (Sondra), Burlington, Ont.; a brother, Johnson (June), Parrsboro; sisters-in-law, Lorena Wilson, Moncton; Myrna McPhee, Amherst; Helen McPhee, Hampton, N.B.; grandchildren, Christopher Rowe, Lucas Hurley; Madison & MacKenzie McPhee; Liam Pugsley; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Kathleen, Jean, Elizabeth; brothers, Stewart, Morris, George, Thomas. Visitation 6-8 p.m. today [Friday, January 25, 2013] at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday [January 26, 2013] at St. George’s Anglican Church, Parrsboro, Rev. Tory Byrne officiating. Burial in St. George’s Anglican Cemetery, Parrsboro.
