WARREN, CHRISTINA MAY - After a 10 year courageous battle with ALS, Christina May Warren went to be with her Lord and Saviour on January 28, 2013. Born in Harewood, NB August of 1935 she was a daughter to the late Leslie and Bertie (Killam) MacLeod. She was a member of Main Street Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking, nature, traveling, gospel music, walking and spending time with her family and friends. Christina was a devoted mother, wife, sister, aunt and friend. She is survived by her sons Richard (Lea), Terry (Kim) both of Saint John, Stacy (Angela) of Trenton, ON and Scott (Rachel) of Saint John; daughters Synthia Good (Malvin) of Quispamsis and Joanne Warren (Dean) of Moncton; precious grandchildren Jason, Kevin, Jonathan, Emily and Jordan; one great-grandson Hayden; brother Bruce MacLeod (Berdine) of Moncton; sisters Hilda MacLeod of Salisbury and Doris Steeves of Petitcodiac; sister-in-laws Donna and Evelyn MacLeod both of Salisbury; caregivers Bonnie Martin, Catherine McIntyre and Tanya Gray; several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her parents Christina was predeceased by her husband Fred; grandson Paul LeBlanc; brothers Delbert and Sterling, brother-in-law Freddy Steeves and special cousin Lois Whitney.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitation on Wednesday and Thursday January 30th and 31st from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Main Street Baptist Church, 211 Main Street, Saint John on Friday February 1st, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Fernhill Cemetery.
