We the family of the late Irene Frances MacKinnon wish to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to all our relatives and friends for their love, support, prayers and kindness during mom's illness and her death. We thank, in a special way, Fr. Jim Attwood for officiating at the mass as well as Fr. Francis Cameron and Deacon Don McCullough. Many thanks to Dooley's Funeral Home for their support and kindness, to all who took part in the mass (altar servers, Eucharistic Ministers, Funeral Choir, organist, lectors, gift bearers and Anne and Ron Fougere whose solo of mom's favorite song was steller).We thank the Funeral Reception Team for the wonderful lunch served after the mass. A huge thank you to the Palliative Care, especially Adele Wadden, whose care and compassion went above and beyond the call of duty, and grateful thanks to the VON nurses who came weekly to ensure mom was comfortable and doing well. To all who visited our home, sent food, sympathy cards, mass cards, donations, memorial enrollments, monetary gifts and offered help in countless ways, we extend our heartfelt thanks. Your kindness and concern will always be remembered and appreciated.
