It is with great sadness that the family of the late JAMES MURPHY of Marystown, formerly of Parker’s Cove, NL, announces his passing at his residence in Marystown on Thursday, January 24, 2013, at the age of 75. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Wife Eileen of 38 years; Sons: Trevor of Marystown and Travis (Kim) of Portugal Cove; Daughters: Cavelle (Steve Sentner) of PEI, Nicole (Colin Rowe) of St. John’s and Sara Lynn (Steve Emberley) of Marystown; Sisters: Stella Moores, Violet Murphy (John), Philomena Durnford (Roger); Brother: Bernard Murphy (Marion); 5 Grandchildren: Gavin, Regan, Bradyn, Leah and Ryan; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Pre-deceased by Parents: Francis & Sarah Ann Murphy; Sisters: Katie, Alice & Mary; Brothers: Robert & Patrick.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place on Monday, January 28th, at 10:00 am. Interment followed at Sacred Heart R.C. Cemetery. In James’ memory donations may be made to Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Marystown or Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Parker’s Cove or flowers gratefully accepted.
