Pettis, Rodney G- 70 of Parrsboro passed away Sunday, January 27, 2013 at South Cumberland Community Care Center, Parrsboro. Born in Parrsboro he was the son of the late Darrell and Shirley (Crossman) Pettis. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy for 25 years. He is survived by his wife Marilyn (Guthreau), Sons Barry (Mary-Ann), Truro; Todd, Surrey B.C., Darin (April), Springhill. A brother Gary (Kathy), Debert, Sisters Frances (Reid), Parrsboro, Mary (Ron), Serento, B. C; Seven Grandchildren. Visitation 2-4, 6-8, Tuesday at Smiths Funeral Home Parrsboro where funeral will be held 2pm Wednesday. Burial in the Church Cemetery. Donations to South Cumberland Palliative Care.
