Thank you to the Clansman staff and Donna Allen for their help, the EHS for their quick response and their patience and concern for Vern on our many trips to the Regional, to Dr. Mandat Maharaj for his kind, gentle manner and to all we met in the cancer unit. To the Northside General ER and 4-West, Dr. Poulis and Palliative Care who ensured Vern was comfortable, a special thank you. Vern enjoyed his regular visits with Dr. MacDonald, his good friend Gordon MacLeod, friends and members of the clergy. We appreciate the support we received by calls, emails, cards, visits, food, flowers, donations to charities and all who visited the Funeral Home. Thanks to the staff of Dooly's and Dan who guided us each step. We were comforted by Roger MacGillivary's presence and words of hope. Thank you to Mike and Monica who served us well. Those memories will always be with us.
