Edmond Thibodeau
THIBODEAU, EDMOND JOSEPH FREDERICK - At the Saint John Regional Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, Edmond Thibodeau, husband of Diane (Hayward) Thibodeau, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2013. Born in St. Anne de Madawaska, NB., he was the son of the late Emile and Mary Jane (Parent) Thibodeau. Edmond was a hard worker, always willing to help anyone in need. He drove long haul truck for many years and was known in that circle as “Mad Man” or “Cowboy”. Edmond adored his grandchildren. They were his reason for going on. He had a passion for 4 wheeling, music of all styles and dancing. He was a lifetime member of the Tim Horton’s club, hanging his hat at the Simms Corner and North End locations. A generous man with a huge sense of humour, he will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered. He is survived by his sons Jonathan and Wayne (Katherine McCann); and his daughters Nicole (Donald) Fair and Amy Thorne (Brad Parks) all of Saint John. His brothers Claude (Yolande), Bert (Helen), Leo (Susan) all of Saint John, Jean Paul (Susan) Jasper, Texas, Renald (Pat), Jerry, Emelien (Ida) all of St. Anne de Madawaska; sisters Emeliene Gauthier (Fernand) St. Jacques, and Gateane Beaulieu Madawaska, Maine; grandchildren Grace, Roman, Sean and Avery, his son-in-law Ryan Thorne, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Edmond was also predeceased tragically by his children Raymond and Lynn.
Arrangements under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road. (646-2424) with visiting Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. The Memorial Mass will be held Monday, February 4, 2013 from St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Milford at 11am with a reception to follow at the Milford Memorial Community Centre, 248 Milford Road.
