Louis (Pete) Harley

1931- 2008 Louis (Pete) Harley of the K.E. Spencer Memorial Home, was called home to God’s gardens on Sunday, June 1, 2008. Devoted husband of Alma (Colpitts) Harley. Pete was born in P.E.I., son of the late Harry and Emma (Martin) Harley. He will be sadly missed and remembered always by Alma, his wife of 47 years; two sons, Jim of Moncton and Joe (Kevin) of Grand Bay-Westfield. He is also survived by two sisters, Eileen of Victoria, B.C., and Mabel of England; and several nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his parents, Pete was predeceased by five brothers, Ivan, Mahlon, Nush (Robert), Dick (Richard), Frank; as well as three sisters, Marion (Mickey), Jean and Helen. Pete spent most of his working career as a painter. His favorite passions in life were harness racing and bowling. Visitation will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Rd., Moncton, (506) 852-3530 on Friday, June 6, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, in the funeral home chapel, with Rev.
