Passed peacefully away at the Dr. Albert O’Mahony Manor, Clarenville on Wednesday, January 30, 2013, Mary Ann Langor of Gooseberry Cove in her 85th year. Predeceased by husband George, 62 years married; parents Edgar and Emma Spurrell; brother Harrison. Left with fond and loving memories his daughter Geraldine Mercer (The Reverend Father Edward Mercer), Bishop’s Cove; sons George, Corner Brook and Warren (Paula Kelly), Gooseberry Cove; grandchildren Samantha Soper and Natalie Langor; sisters Ninie Smith (Joseph), Gooseberry Cove, Kitty Dawe (Donald), Little Hearts Ease and Nellie Smith, Sunnyside; brothers Ronald Spurrell (Lillian) and Fred Spurrell (Dot); and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Little Hearts Ease. Funeral service took place on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at the Anglican Church, Gooseberry Cove with interment at Anglican Cemetery, Gooseberry Cove.
