Passed peacefully away on February 2nd, 2013 at The Health Sciences Centre surrounded by her loving family Rita Churchill aged 88 years. Predeceased by her husband Bill George (William) in 2002 and son-in-law Randy Dicks in 2007.Leaving to mourn her children Samuel, Lionel (Maxine), Loretta Dicks (Dave) Sharon Tucker (Noel), Lorne (Esther), Barry, Corina Churchill (Bob), grandchildren Terry, Kerry, Denis, Daniel, Phillip, Natasha, Christien, Lorranda, Lorne, Shannon, Stacy, Julie as well as eleven great-grand children. Also leaving to mourn her special cousin and best friend Mary Hammond, as well as a large circle of nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. The Churchill family wishes to extend a special thank you to the nursing staff and doctors of 4 South A for the exceptional care which was shown to their mom during her stay there. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Monday from 10 a.m.- 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m.- 12 noon. Funeral Service will take place at St. Lawrence Anglican Church on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the St. Lawrence Anglican Cemetery, Bauline Line Ext.
